Funding for Community Groups

The Sunshine Coast Rail Modellers Society were able to put their six new yellow carriages on the rails at Florence Street park, as a result of funding through  a Gambling Community Benefit Fund Grant.

I am often approached by community groups looking for funding.

The following link will take you to the Qld Government grants page, which lists the various types of grants that are available to a variety of community groupswww.qld.gov.au/grants/discoverbywizard.action

There are also grants announced through the Sunshine Coast Regional Council, the Federal Government and a variety of private companies, which are usually advertised in the local papers.

Gambling Community Benefit Fund and Jupiters Casino applications can now be accesses at http://www.olgr.qld.gov.au/
